A New Way to See the Pyramids!

Egypt is taking the visitor experience at the Giza Pyramids to new heights!

A new captive balloon experience, the first of its kind at the Pyramids, will take visitors 150 metres above the desert for a 15-minute panoramic ride, offering breathtaking views of the Pyramids, the Sphinx and their surroundings from a completely new perspective.

The project has been designed with the highest standards of safety, security, sustainability and archaeological preservation.

Visitors will also enjoy archaeological commentary through dedicated glasses and headsets, available in 12 languages.

Please note: the balloon is not yet open to visitors. The project is currently entering its pilot/trial operation phase, with the official opening to visitors to follow once all operational and safety procedures are completed.

This exciting addition is part of Egypt’s wider vision to transform the Giza Plateau into a world-class, multi-experience destination, offering visitors more than just a photo stop.
